RoyalManiac wins first Elite Racing Kings Arena

The first Elite Racing Kings Arena was played on 6th March at 7pm UTC.
After winning Welcome Racing Kings Arena and First Hyperbullet Arena RoyalManiac also wins the first Elite Racing Kings Arena with 42 points!
The second place is taken by seth_7777777 with 29 points and the third by Natso with 28 points.
Let's first have a look at some interesting games of the winners.

#1 - RoyalManiac

Our first place got paired with his rival seth_7777777 only two times. Both players directly berserked in the first game they played against each other.

Both players played very strong until move 12, and I already thought they would draw it. Unexpected seth_7777777 blunders and RoyalManiac uses his chance to get material advantage. So RoyalManiac started his next winning streak with that game and 2 Average Centipawn Loss!

#2 - seth_7777777

Pretty early in the tournament seth_7777777 got paired with the third place - Natso.

Again a game which looks like a clear draw. Natso has also the right idea in the fifth move, moving the King. Maybe it was a misclick, maybe just a miscalculation. Anyways he plays 5. Kb5 instead of Kc5 and seth_7777777 is able to create a won game out of a +2 blunder!

#3 - Natso

After drawing and losing to RoyalManiac in that tournament he takes all his power and beats RoyalManiac!

In move 11 Natso unfortunately gives RoyalManiac the chance to win but RoyalManiac misses it and gives Natso directly the chance to win!
Natso takes his Chance and plays the right moves. He won on time though but he would have won it also in a normal way probably.

Puzzles found of the Elite

Puzzle 1

This puzzle is out of a game seth_7777777 played. Of course he saw how to play it and won the game.

Puzzle 2

I found that puzzle in a game of RoyalManiac. RoyalManiac also saw how to play here - well he's the world champion of 2019 and 2020 and the best rated player too - and won the game a few moves later.

Puzzle 3

That game was played by seth_7777777 against sriramprasad. seth_7777777 got beaten because sriramprasad saw how to play as well.

Puzzle 4

This last and also easiest puzzle is out of a game of Natso. Yeah, you're right. Also Natso knew how to play!

Next Elite Arenas and Conclusion

Elite Arenas will be played once a week. At least that is Natso's current plan. The exact dates of Elite Arenas and if the plan changes you will notice if you join Lichess' official Racing Kings Team.
