Well written! Quite the action in this weekend tournament!
Nice to see a report about a tournament I competed in (I'm even in the photo you used!). Just a small detail, but I noticed some typos in your posts such as the duplication of "in the Catholic" in the opening sentence. In Ireland, almost all schools are Catholic, so for me it goes without saying.
"The list of participants, however, held surprise from many a participant's surprise."
Duplication of the word surprise.
"some double-decker buses in the prevailing left-hand traffic there, which operate as normal public buses."
This sentence confused me, are double-decker buses unusual outside of Ireland? Are they very different from "normal" buses?

Hi,
Good report.
Just FYI 50% of secondary schools in Ireland are under Catholic patronage and that number is reducing www.jstor.org/stable/10.35939/studiesirishrev.108.429.0055#:~:text=Just%20over%2090%25%20of%20primary,been%20changing%20in%20recent%20years.
I'm not too sure how important it is to state that it is a Catholic school as that has no impact on the playing experience and may give a misleading view of a changing Ieland with less than half of those under 35 being believers.
