Almost every time I select "New opponent", the new opponent is the previous one. I think this is bad behavior.
I agree that the opponent in the just-concluded game should be excluded from the matching algorithm.
"New opponent" signifies that the opponent will not be a repeat.
Alternatively, re-label the button to "New game", which would be more accurate given the current algorithm.
