How precise is the "realtime" playback feature?

I sometimes like to replay my old games using the "realtime" replay function. It's the closest thing I have to a video feed of my favorite games over these past 8 years of lichess gaming.

Does anyone know how precise the playback feature is? Does it sample every 1/10th of a second, for example? Or is it more or less precise than that?

What do you mean by "sample?" How does that apply here? I assume it just delays the same amount of time that the move took in the game.
If you mean how precise are the move times, it seems they are precise at least to 10 ms.

You're welcome. If you hover over the move times graph, it gives you clock times (and move times if they are small enough) to hundredths of a second, but I'm not sure how they are stored internally. Also I don't think it takes into account lag compensation, so the real time replay might not look exactly the same as it looked during the game for either player, but it should be close enough.
