The 'resign' button dosnt work

The 'resign' button in the Chrome browser on macOS Monterey does not function properly. As a result, I am often forced to leave games prematurely and risk receiving a ban. This issue seems to be widespread, as I have noticed other players experiencing the same problem
Check your configuration. If you have "Confirm resignation and draw offers" enabled (in "Game behaviour" section), the button only turns red when you press it and you need to push it again to actually resign (the same for draw offers). It might even be the default (I don't remember).

(If you meant something else by "does not function properly", you need to be more specific.)
As mkubecek said, you actually need to press it twice.

It would be interesting to know if this might need some more explanation (especially for fresh users), like a hint "Press again to confirm your resignation" (or draw offer). I can easily see the color change of the button to be interpreted as a successfully sent resign / draw offer.
A hint would certainly be helpful. This topic tends to come up in the forum every now and then. Also, I remember that even though I intentionally enabled this option right after registering, when I first wanted to offer a draw, I did not understand what the red color means and thought it was an indication of a pending offer so that I did not confirm it. (I rather expected some pop-up with yes/no or OK/Cancel buttons when I was enabling the option).
Thanks for pointing me to the "Confirm resignation and draw offers" option in Settings. I didn't even know it was there! I turned it off since double-tapping wasn't working for me. Now you all can really enjoy playing with me ;)
