zhouse concept

I think crazyhouse would be more interesting if the white pieces couldn't move a pawn 2 squares on the first move. 1. e4 seems unnecessarily OP for a fun game. What do zhouse players on lichess think about this?

I don't play the variant but I do feel white would probably have too much of an advantage. I agree some tweaking would be needed to reduce the power of moving first. But I dunno what. Your suggestion 'feels' like too much to me. But I dunno
