Just because Lichess has developed a site doesn't mean they play good. Thibault Duplessis' ratings are below 2000.

But for real, I think Carlsen, could never WIN against lichess engines. He could maybe draw some games, but not winning. So he probably would lose a match.
And for Densel7355: Although Thibault Duplessis is not the best player in the world, but he is a great programmer. He created lichess without getting money for premium versions (only from people who donate). For example: You can do as much puzzles as you want. That is the reason why so many people love lichess
