How best to load my own games into Lichess

Is it acceptable to put my own over-the-board games into lichess for analysis, ability to demonstrate online etc.

And if so, what is best way to input individual games, must I create the pgn file first in another chess software package, then import the game. Or can I directly enter my own game via lichess interface.

Great software .. thank you .. dave

Yes, it is.

Importing is probably the best for your purpose. It gets an IMPORT indicator so everyone can see that it wasn't played here, and you can also delete imported games.
Sorry, ProgramFOX:

How do you delete imported games? I cannot find it.
Would it be a good idea to allow the import of games move by move, so you don't have to use a thirds party tool to import your scoresheets you played in over the board matches ?

You can make the moves on lichess.org/analysis and then copy the PGN from there, so you don't need a third party and it doesn't take a lot more time than duplicating the analysis board on the import page.
Also, does lichess have a 'database' of all the main games already within it.Like the twic games etc.
Yes it would be great to have a mid size high quality games database like all TWIC 2400+ games or all TWIC 2700+ games. I can help with arranging the database if there is some functionality to upload these in Lichess and can be analysed in Analysis Board.
I believe this would be great support for those chess lovers that cannot afford purchasing pro databases and opening books.
