Has anyone tried the new online opening trainer of chessbase? They have a free mode and I wonder if that is sufficient.
Does anyone know the difference between the free opening trainer and the paid membership opening trainer at chessbase?

I think the best trainers for openings are;
1. Perfect chess trainer by Michael Bartl. He has a PC version and an android version. This is the best and it costs around $15 for the PC version and like $2-3 for the android I think. I bought both for completion.
2. Chess Position trainer by Stephan Renewitz (spln?). This use to be my favorite but he broke a promise and made it shareware. I don't mind paying for a good product, but I won't stay with someone who breaks promises. It's a good product, my reasons are purely on principle.
3. Book up - Still up there.. But has been passed by the first two by far.
The best way to obtain training material is to get a fritz trainer and convert your game library into PGN and then set them into the trainers.
