it happened to me three times (last two are it.lichess.org/gUC71V5pdtF8 and it.lichess.org/COiJdwVmlQR5) that I started a game and simultaneously my opponent got involved in another game, leaving me there waiting. There should be, I guess, a sort of locking mechanism to avoid that, but it seems to work non perfectly.
