Yes please. I feel offended for you to try to deny the opportunity to get some of the few pleasures of life to others you fascist.

OP found the community here to be so overwhelmingly supportive of his plan that he started liking this friendly community after all.
The OP says he's considering closing his account...then he TD's #2 for saying go ahead. Sounds like a real Joanie Bradford.

Well the best reason to close your account is to not get spied by otb opponents
Also your username is kinda ironic to you post lol
As @GloryToChess just closed his account, and likewise this thread probably will be closed down in near future too, it is important to adress, that in the end lichess remains free and open to all. The accusage of beeing greedy in that context not only does it make no sense, but certainly it is not well thought of, considering that lichess first and formost is a charitable non-profit organization, which can easily be found out by just clicking through the starting page. The demand of prohibiting "some nations" from partaking at lichess, excluding them from a free chess website is not only a bummer when thinking of educational purposes and even more basic civil rights, the believe of the human as a free beeing, but also very much of basic racism. And since this should not be tolerated here, where we all come together to peacefully learn, play and have fun, the closage of such accounts, that speak that way is not only a good proposal, it should desperately come into lichess' regulations, that the one who demands to sort out shall be sorted out himself. Saying this may seem critical to some, but in the end it is just the consequence that everybody has to draw, when putting up the claim to be free for all. Luckily enough this decision has been put away from us in this case, hence the author just acted by himself, still I suppose, that it may be an inducement to overthink lichess' regulations regarding the just bespoken aspects.

In the end, lichess stays free for all. And thats good!
