Playing experience

Here’s a glimpse into my chess journey:

I've been playing chess since 2002.
I earned the title of Grandmaster at the age of 15.
In 2013, I emerged victorious in the World Championship U-18 (Blitz)
I've won the National Champions on several occasions and emerged a win in many Open tournaments such as (the Baku Open, Zurich Open, Istanbul Open, Mersin Open, etc.)
I've raised the main trophy in league competitions with my clubs in Spain, Austria, Turkey, and Germany.
In 2023 I reached the semifinals of the FIDE World Cup, facing seven times higher-rated opponents along the way. It was a journey to remember!
In 2024, I participated in the most prestigious FIDE event (after the World Championship Match): The Candidates tournament, held in Toronto.

Teaching experience

Coaching experience:

Since 2013, I have been coaching.
I’ve been mentoring the young generation, helping them win numerous National and Continental Youth Championships.
Through collaborative efforts with my students, we have achieved significant milestones in their chess journeys, including international titles such as IM and GM.
I was delighted to be part of my student’s success in reaching the Women's World Cup finals.
I’ve worked closely with elite players during their top-tier tournaments, including the Candidates tournament. The partnership helped them to have podium finishes – among the top three.

Teaching methodology

The first sessions would always be a mini-test with more than ten selective positions. (The course can take up to 4-6 hours.)
Each position is a practical scenario, mirroring a different possible situation during a game.
While solving the problems, I ask students to speak aloud of their (wildest) thoughts.
Following how a student approaches a problem, we discuss the thinking process, and I share my vision and experience on how I see the problem and what I would've done in similar situations.

At the conclusion of the course, I gain a comprehensive understanding of my students' chess skills and personality. This allows me to create a personalized 'menu' of strategies and techniques to address the areas where they can improve, ensuring a tailored learning experience.
