1/2+0 Horde...

....is a setting in which the pawns can simply decide to move around as fast as possible as opposed to actually doing anything remotely relevant to actually winning a horde game not by flagging.

I tried this theory in a casual game. It is true.
Of course, at lower levels (sub-2000) 1/2+0 Horde favors white. Pawns are easier to push fast, and also you can make checks.

However, at a top level stronger players (2000+) are able to finish horde game in 30 sec with black.

Really fast players can make 100+ moves in 1/2+0 Horde game.
So playing fast bad moves, hoping for a flag - will not work. You have to make good moves.
To make it harder for opponent - you have to protect back rank as long as possible. Because once the queen enters to back rank it becomes much easier to premove for black, and 10 seconds usually enough to finish the game from that moment.

White can premove randomly, black has to keep up by premoving itself, so white can catch black premoving and promote from the flanks.
