Please anyone explain how does the pairing system exactly work. The condition 'you will then be paired with a player close to your ranking' seem to be violated too often; sometimes you are waiting for a minute or so and then get paired with some 2300+ who has just joined the tournament.
Also, I do not understand what is 'minimum time' mentioned in the rules. Is there actually an upper bound on time you need to spend waiting before you get paired?
